Coming around for another year is Search Marketing Expo (SMX) London, and we’re delighted to have one of our own speaking at the event again this year. The conference will go into great detail about the way search engine marketing has evolved and how our marketing habits must reflect the changes. To be held in the New Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden on the 18th and 19th of May, 2009; sessions and speakers prove to offer a well rounded look into the online marketing trends that so many business are looking towards in tough economic times.

Julian Lynch, Commercial Director here in metrocafe311, will be speaking on 19 May on the “Analytics Every SEO Should Know.” The session will focus on the fact that SEO is certainly alive and well, and using Analytics guarantees you are squeezing the most return on your investment. Julian will be looking into developing a creative strategy for using Analytics to guarantee you’re getting the most value out of your analytics reporting.

We’re also looking forward to the “Searchscape: Latest Stats about the Search Engines” and comparing them to the online marketing statistics we pulled for Search Marketing World 2009, here in Ireland. It will be interesting to see the trends in the UK, in comparison to internet usage in Ireland.
