Joe Rospars Speaks on Authenticity Online – Hey! It Worked for Obama…

A quick tip on Tuesday night led to my attending Joe Rospars’ visit to UCD Smurfit in Dublin on Wednesday afternoon, to hear his take on the success of Barack Obama’s social media campaign. As the New Media Director for the campaign, “Obama for America”, if anyone could give us the inside scoop…it would be Mr. Rospars. Digital Media Awards Grand Prix Winners – Interactive Return!

Of course we all look forward to the weekend, but the group of us here in Interactive Return (now called metrocafe311) didn’t realise just what we had to look forward to this past Friday, when we were announced as the winners of the Digital Media Awards Grand Prix prize.

Shortlisted in three categories, Best Search Marketing Campaign for Tourism Ireland, Best Use of Social Media for Ross O’Carroll Kelly, and Best Mediacast (Podcast/Vodcast) Production for “Online Marketing Ireland” YouTube channel,  we hadn’t anticipated such recognition.
